This is my professional work experience in I.T. and music. Its by no means exhaustive, and leaves out a lot of private
projects that I often take on and run for a while (like this site), but it gives a good overview of the diverse jobs I've done over the years. I will always go the extra mile or more to get the job done on time and to everyones satisfaction. Though I say it myself, I'm also a nice guy to deal with and have a *lot* of patience with non-technical people and I'm easy to talk to (my nerd to human interface is quite sophisticated). I.T. 1998 - 6 month contract, HBOC (now McKesson) Designing, coding, testing and implementing bespoke software for hospital & medical data systems to ISO certification. Languages used were MSM, ISM & DSM MUMPS (M technology) on HP-UX, Ultrix and VAX systems. Job also entailed remote admin of 10+ hospital servers. 1999 - 6 month, engineer, Software Warehouse (now Jungle.com) Providing hardware repairs, upgrades and technical advice to customers. 2000-2004, various contracts, Mirai Interactive Ltd (now Peerex Ltd). Bespoke software development and implementation. Diverse web development using HTML, ASP, PHP, Access, MySQL, SQL server, IIS4 and Apache on Redhat Linux, NT4 and W2K systems. Also several computer telephony developments (e.g. voice mailbox system interfaced to E1 trunks with web front-end admin) using Dialogic hardware and VOS & Dialogic API programming on NT4 and W2K servers. Also handled customer support, RIPE and Ofcom administration at a senior level. 2005-2006, mobile content and MIDI processing software for Third Ear Productions. Present: freelance musical arranger and software engineer. Music 1987 . 1990 Guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, various indie bands, lots of self released albums and youthful verve turning to industry disillusionment. The usual. 1993 . Composed and recorded score for Junction 33.s production of .The last supper. by Howard Barker. 1994 . Composed and recorded a 1 hour piece of music for .Position over eyes., a dance piece from the Litza Bixler dance company. 1994 Composed and recorded music for .With the light on. by Third Angel, (nominated for Best Drama at The British Short Film Festival). 1995 . Composed and recorded score for .Bailiff. by Reflex theatre. 1996 . Composed and recorded score for .Last orders. by Reflex theatre. 1997 . Composed and recorded score for .Lock in. by Reflex theatre. 1999 . 2000 Toured extensively in the UK with .The badass groovers. 70.s disco roadshow (yeah baby!) as guitarist and performer. Around 100+ shows. 2000 . Recorded 4 track CD under the name .Jetboy.. Available from vitaminic.co.uk last time I looked. 2001 .
